Biography

Michael Halkitis graduated cum laude from Davidson College in 2003, where he played football for the Wildcats and graduated with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2006. Michael has extensive federal court experience after serving as a law clerk to two federal judges and litigating in federal court for over ten years.

Prior to starting Halkitis Law, Michael worked for nearly eight years as an associate attorney at a reputable Tampa firm, specializing in personal injury defense and contractual issues. Subsequently, Michael worked as an associate attorney at The Bedell Firm, one of Jacksonville’s most respected firms and the oldest firm in Florida. While there, Michael specialized in employee rights litigation, commercial litigation, criminal defense, and legal malpractice defense.
